
QUINCY, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) has identified the man killed in a crash on State Route 281 in Quincy on June 7.
Two vehicles were traveling northbound during the early morning hours when one crashed into the back of another at a high rate of speed, WSP said in a release.
WSP said Gonzalo Villafana Alvarado, a 36-year-old from Quincy, was pronounced dead at the scene. He is believed to be the driver who slammed into the second vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 58-year-old also from Quincy, was not injured in the crash.
WSP said the crash remains under investigation and that it’s unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved.
