Detectives asking for help to identify robbery suspect

SPOKANE, Wash. — Deputes are asking for the public to help them identify a robbery suspect they say robbed a Chevron at knifepoint.

Investigators say it happened around 4:50 a.m. on April 10th at the Chevron near N. Pines Road and E. Maxwell Avenue.

They released the pictures above, hoping someone recognizes the man. The employee told them the suspect entered the store with a knife, demanded money, and then ran away.

Responding Deputies established a perimeter and searched with a K9 Unit but didn’t find him.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect is described as a light-skinned Black or possibly Hispanic male, approximately 5’08”- 6’00”, with a medium build, wearing a black face covering, a gray sweatshirt/hoodie, gray sweatpants, and gray/white shoes.

Detectives ask local businesses and people in the area to check their video surveillance cameras on April 10, 2026, between 4:30 am and 5:00 am, to see if they captured footage of the suspect or any other suspicious activity.

SCSO says if you can help them identify the suspect or have video that may be useful, to call Detective N. Bohanek at 509-477-3223, reference #10047136.
