COLVILLE, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) has released a statement with more details from the deadly rollover crash on State Route 20, just east of Colville, and authorities have identified the man who died in the crash.
According to the WSP, there was only one car involved in the incident, a 2006 Toyota Tundra pickup truck. The truck was travelling eastbound on State Route 20, near mile point 357.
As it approached a radius curve that went from right to left, the truck moved off of the roadway and entered the eastbound shoulder. The driver then overcorrected into the westbound shoulder and the truck began to roll multiple times, ejecting the driver.
The WSP identified the driver as Michael L. Morey, 79, from Colville.
