SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office has identified Deputy K. Felix as the officer involved in the fatal shooting of a carjacking suspect on June 15.
Deputy Felix joined the Sheriff’s Office in November 2023, following a 20-year career in the United States Air Force.
The suspect, Ryan Tietsort, 43, was shot and killed by Deputy Felix after reportedly fleeing from police, firing at them from his car, and killing a person in Idaho during a violent crime spree.
