CHATTAROY, Wash. – The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash on N. Milan Road.
On Wednesday, deputies responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m. after reports of an injury crash. Bystanders attempted life-saving measures until medics and law enforcement arrived.
The rider, an adult male, was severely injured and transported to a hospital by Life Flight but was later pronounced dead.
Deputies found an alcohol container near the crash site, and impairment and speed are suspected factors. A search warrant was obtained for a blood sample to test for impairment.
The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the rider’s name and cause of death when appropriate. The investigation is ongoing.
