SPOKANE, Wash. – David Haring will take over as CEO of Spokane Airports starting October 6.

With over 20 years of experience in aviation leadership, Waring has been the executive director of Lincoln Airport in Nebraska since 2014, where he led significant infrastructure and policy developments.

His efforts helped transform Lincoln into a premier transportation gateway, Spokane Airports said in a release.

“The Airport Board evaluated several exceptional candidates as part of our nationwide search, and David stood out as the unanimous choice to guide the organization into its next chapter,” said Ezra Eckhardt, Spokane Airport Board Chair. “David has a proven track record of building cohesive, dynamic teams and understands there is a direct connection between the strength of our airports and the strength of our regional economy.”

Haring is eager to lead Spokane Airports through a transformative period.

“Leading Spokane Airports is an incredible opportunity, and an immense privilege,” he said. “I look forward to strengthening this momentum and enhancing connectivity for the Inland Northwest.”

Before Lincoln, Haring spent 13 years at Cheyenne Regional Airport, serving as director of aviation.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Dakota and is a VFR-certified private pilot.
