
KUNA, Idaho – CS Beef Packers, LLC, based in Kuna, Idaho, has recalled approximately 22,912 pounds of raw ground beef due to potential E. coli contamination.
The recall, announced by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), includes various 10-pound chubs with “Use/Freeze By: 02/04/26” dates and specific time stamps.
These items were shipped to distributors in California, Idaho and Oregon for further distribution to foodservice locations.
The contamination was discovered through FSIS testing at a downstream customer. There are no confirmed reports of illness related to this recall, but anyone concerned should contact a healthcare provider.
FSIS advises foodservice locations not to serve the recalled products. Consumers should return or dispose of the products.
