Crumbl Cookie, Dubai chocolate trend hits Spokane

SPOKANE, WASH- Dubai chocolate is a trend that is sweeping the world, it’s expensive and in some cases hard to get your hands on.

It’s generally a chocolate bar with pistachio kataifi inside, providing a crunch, some say it’s the perfect balance between sweet and savory.

Crumbl Cookie was the latest group to jump on board the trend.

The founder of Crumbl, Sawyer Hemsley, posted to TikTok that despite the amount of ingredients that they purchased, which they thought would last for at least two weeks, has only lasted for a few days at some locations.

Hemsley says when they are out of ingredients at a location, they will be sold out.

According to the latest information available to NonStop Local they still are being served at the North Spokane location.

Yazan Azrai who owns the Lebanon Deli & Grocery at the Y which has only been open about a year and says the Trent has been good for business.

Azrai says they sell not just the chocolate but a milkshake it has brought people into his store, and roughly contributes 35% to 40% to the bottom line.

Miflavor near the valley sells the bars as well, on the higher end side it runs about $35.
