Crash on I-90 near Liberty Lake causes traffic delays, DUI suspected

UPDATE: September 29 at 5:45 p.m.

The crash involved a car and a semi-truck, according to Sergeant Greg Riddell with WSP District 4.

The driver of the car was reportedly driving erratically, lost control, hit the cable barrier and crashed into the semi while trying to return to the road.

Police have charged the driver with driving under the influence. Although the semi was damaged, it is not disabled.

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. – A crash on Interstate 90 eastbound near Liberty Lake is disrupting traffic.

The Washington State Department of Transportation anticipates the right lane to remain blocked until about 5:30 p.m.

Drivers are advised to expect backed up traffic and travel delays or plan alternate routes.
