OTHELLO, Wash. – A single-vehicle crash on July 12 claimed the life of a Royal City man, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash involved a passenger truck driven by 38-year-old Jesus Carlos Villa, who veered off W. Cunningham Rd., leading to an overcorrection, the sheriff’s office said in a release.
The vehicle subsequently rolled across the road, struck a utility pole and came to rest in a wheat field.
Villa, who was the only person in the truck, was ejected and did not survive the crash, the release said.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is still underway.
