OKANOGAN, Wash. – A cougar was sighted Thursday morning in an Okanogan neighborhood.
The cougar was reportedly spotted near the 500 block of Conconully Street.
Okanogan County Emergency Managment said residents are advised to keep their pets indoors and report any sightings to Wild Comm at 360-902-2936 or call 9-1-1 in case of an emergency.
Wildlife agents and sheriff deputies are actively searching for the cougar in the area.
