OKANOGA, Wash. – Okanogan County Emergency Management issued a warning to residents to keep their pets indoors following a cougar sighting on Conconully Street.
The location is west of Salmon Creek and near the Okanogan tennis courts. Officials are urging residents to stay clear if they spot the cougar and to report any sightings to wildlife officials.
Wildlife agents along with sheriff deputies are actively searching for the cougar in the area. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and prioritize the safety of their pets and themselves.
