SPOKANE, Wash. – A community meeting was held at Frances Scott Elementary on Thursday to discuss the North Spokane Corridor’s final connection project.
The North Spokane Corridor is a 10.5-mile corridor designed to be a 60-mile-per-hour, north-south limited access road. It will connect Interstate 90 at the south, U.S. 2 at Farwell Road and U.S. 395 at Wandermere on the north end. The project is projected to cost $1.5 billion.
The meeting began with a presentation and transitioned into a hands-on workshop. Neighbors reviewed past community input and shared new ideas for improvement.
This was the first of monthly sessions scheduled to continue through April of next year. The project is expected to be completed by 2030.
