COLVILLE, Wash. – A new affordable housing project in Colville is now open, providing much-needed relief for the local community. Catholic Charities of Eastern Washington completed the 72-unit complex three months ahead of schedule.
Twenty people have already moved in, including 11 children. Of the 72 units, 36 are specifically reserved for people experiencing homelessness.
Local advocates emphasize the importance of this development, especially as Colville increases its efforts to address public camping. A grand opening is scheduled for September.
This project marks a significant step forward in providing stable living conditions for those in need.
