Coleman recalls camping cots due to safety concerns

The Coleman Company is recalling its Converta camping cots and suspension stretchers. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has identified a significant safety risk with these products.

The recall is due to the backrest fold mechanism, which poses laceration and amputation risks to fingers. There have been at least two reports of fractured fingers related to this issue.

If you own one of these camping cots or stretchers, it is crucial to stop using the product immediately. The Coleman Company urges affected consumers to contact them for a free repair kit.
