COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – A local man, Christian James Mosher, 26, initially sentenced to 20 years in prison for rape, has had his sentence suspended.
Mosher was convicted of raping a 17-year-old in 2024 after being repeatedly told “no.”
On July 15, District Judge Barbara Duggan sentenced him to 20 years, with parole eligibility after eight years, but instead placed him on five years of probation.
A 20-year no contact order prohibits Mosher from contacting the victim.
