KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho – A Coeur d’Alene man was convicted of lewd conduct with a minor under sixteen by District Judge Casey Simmons.
The charges stemmed from an incident in October of 2024, when Richard Allen Lewis, 66, sexually abused a 6-7-year old child. According to court documents, Coeur d’Alene police discovered that Lewis had molested as many as four other children in the past, dating back to the 1980s.
Lewis received a life prison sentence with parole eligibility after 14 years.
