COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – An 18-year-old was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually abusing a child under 16, following his conviction, the Kootenai County Prosecutor’s Office said in a release.

In November 2024, Landyn Lee Molyneaux abused a 10-year-old child, with acts including inappropriate physical contact.

During the case, he disclosed having inappropriate contact with three other minors aged 7 to 10, starting when he was about 12.

Molyneaux’s sentencing allows for parole eligibility after two years.

A no-contact order was also issued, prohibiting any contact with the victim for 20 years, the prosecutor’s office said.
