COEUR D’ALENE, Wash. – Dave Tysdal, , is on the road to recovery.
The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department shared a message on social media with an update on Tysdal’s rehabilitation and thanked the community for all its support.
“Dave, Annie and their children would like to thank the community and folks from all over the United States for their continued support. Though Dave is still unable to move his legs, his gun shot wound, clavicle, lungs, and arm strength are getting better and better each day.”
Tysdal has had as a result of the shooting.
“We can’t thank everyone enough for supporting us through this difficult time.”
Two other firefighters shot in the ambush, Battalion Chief Frank Harwood and Battalion Chief John Morrison, were killed by the shooter.
