Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission offers grants for local arts groups; apply by August 15

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission is inviting performing arts organizations to apply for the “Art Spotlight CDA” grants, the commission said in a release.

These grants aim to support local theater, dance, music, opera and similar productions.

Eligible applicants must be based in Kootenai County and operate as 501(c)(3) nonprofits. They should have a history of at least five years of performing arts programming, said the commission.

The grants, totaling $15,000, will be awarded in amounts of $5,000 or $7,500 for the first year.

A second-year option is available, allowing recipients to reapply for continued funding.

Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. PST on Friday, August 15, 2025.

They should be emailed to Jo Anne Mateski with the subject line: “Art Spotlight CDA 2025 Application Submission.”
