Firefighters have made significant progress in containing the Clover Fire near Naples, which has spread across approximately 30 acres and is now 75% contained, according to the Idaho Department of Lands.
Power has been restored, and most residents have returned home.
However, those on Clover Lane remain under “Go” evacuation orders due to the fire’s proximity.
Residents north of Clover Lane up to Sandy Ridge Road between Hwy 95 and Deep Creek Loop are under “Set” evacuation status and should be ready to leave if conditions worsen.
Those north of Sandy Ridge Road for one mile are in “Ready” status.
The county fairgrounds evacuation shelter has closed as evacuations have been lifted in some areas.

Boundary County Emergency Management (BCEM) announced that evacuations have been lifted for all areas affected by the Clover Fire, except for residents of Clover Lane, who remain in “GO” status.
Those who evacuated from all other areas, besides Clover Lane residents, were advised that it is safe to return to their homes, although BCEM noted these areas will remain in a “SET” status throughout the night, meaning residents should stay prepared to evacuate again, if necessary.
For those living north of Sandy Ridge Road, the BCEM advised residents to remain “Ready” to evacuate in the case of conditions changing.
Officials added that residents can receive the latest updates on evacuations by calling the BCEM Information Hotline at 208-696-2626.
In a previous update, BCEM announced that the American Red Cross has established an evacuation shelter in Memorial Hall for residents. Pets are not allowed in this shelter, so residents have been urged to plan accordingly.
Efforts to battle the fire are being carried out by multiple aircraft, attempting to surround the flames with retardant compounds. Ground crews will continue working towards containment through the night, according to BCEM.
Officials stated that power lines in the area were shutdown after several power poles caught fire. As a result, some residents will not have access to power until at least tomorrow.
BCEM also announced that Deep Creek Loop, from Schoolhouse Road to Highland Flats, has been closed. Only firefighters and residents will be allowed through, and everyone else has been instructed to avoid the area.

Boundary County Emergency Management (BCEM) announced that all residents up to one mile north of Sandy Ridge Road should be prepared to evacuate immediately, if notified.
Residents who wish to sign up for emergency evacuation alerts from the sheriff can text the number 83805 to 888777.
Officials also stated that Highway 95 has been reopened.
According to the BCEM, the fire has been named the “Clover Fire.”

The Boundary County Fair (BCF) announced that fairgrounds have been made available for residents in the area who need shelter for themselves or their livestock as a result of the evacuations.
“Barns are open and ready now for immediate use. Livestock and animals are welcome,” representatives from the BCF stated.

The Paradise Valley Fire District has arrived at the scene of the fire, and crews are actively working towards containment.

According to the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office public information officer, a fire in the Naples area has prompted evacuations.
Residents north of Alta Mill, between U.S. Highway 95 and Deep Creek Road, are being asked to evacuate. The area includes several residential properties.
