CLARKSTON, Wash. – The Clarkston School District is looking for a qualified health care organization to establish and operate a “School-Based Health Center” on the Clarkston High School campus.

The center is meant to provide preventative and primary health care services to Clarkston students, with a strong focus on mental and behavioral health, according to the school district.

“The initiative is designed to reduce barriers to care, increase access for underserved youth, and support student success both inside and outside the classroom,” they wrote.

The funding for construction came from local and state grants, according to the district.

Now, the school is looking for a health care partner to operate the center and to provide, at a minimum, ten hours per week of physical health care, ten hours per week of mental and behavioral health care and fifteen hours per week of care coordination.

They asked that interested health care organizations submit proposals by 4 p.m. on October 17, 2025. Application requirements can be found at the school’s website.
