SPOKANE, Wash. – The City of Spokane will see several closures on Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day.

City Hall and other facilities, including the Waste to Energy facility, will be closed. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste services will be delayed by a day, with Friday’s services rescheduled for Saturday.

Parking meters and kiosks won’t require payment, though all parking rules still apply. Spokane Public Library branches will be closed, and the online catalog will undergo maintenance.

Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services will be closed, and Spokane 311 employees will be unavailable for customer service.

However, Spokane311.org remains available, with messages addressed the following business day.

The Development Services Center staff will also be unavailable, and the Spokane City Council will not convene.

Despite these closures, Riverfront Spokane attractions like the Looff Carrousel, Numerica SkyRide, and Numerica Skate Ribbon will remain open over the holiday weekend.

City golf courses will operate normally, and select splash pads will open ahead of the weekend.
