
SPOKANE, Wash. – Memorial Day has brought closures to several city-owned buildings in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene.
In Spokane, City Hall and other facilities, including the waste to energy facility, are closed. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste services are delayed by one day.
All Spokane Public Library branches, as well as the Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services, are also closed.
Street parking in Spokane is free, as parking meters and kiosks do not require payments on holidays.
In Coeur d’Alene, City Hall and other city facilities are also closed for the holiday. Garbage pickup is delayed by one day. Some city facilities have emergency numbers available for urgent needs.
