
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Greater Spokane Chess League (GSCL), in partnership with Blitz and Blunders, is hosting ‘Chess at Riverfront’ on Wednesday evening.
The event will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Riverfront Park’s Red Wagon Meadow. Attendees can enjoy the unveiling of new chess tables, courtesy of the GSCL, along with beginner lessons, chess-inspired games and live music.
“Whether you’re a future grandmaster or just figuring out how the knight moves, this fun, drop-in chess social is open to all ages and skill levels. Boards and pieces are provided, just bring your game face,” event organizers stated.
