DOUGLAS CO., Wash. – Crews are in a bit of a pit after a semi truck carrying cherries overturned on Grant Road in Douglas County.
As of the writing of this article, Grant Road is closed in both directions between Union Ave. and the roundabout at Urban Industrial Way/Airport Way.
Tow trucks are on the way to clear the roadway, but it is expected to take about two hours to reopen to traffic.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says eastbound traffic on Grant Road will be detoured on Union Avenue to 10th Street SE to Van Well Avenue. Westbound detour will be northbound on Urban Industrial Way to 10th Street NE.
