Chelan plane crash leaves occupants in unknown condition

CASHMERE, Wash. – A small plane crashed into a house in the town of Cashmere while flying near the Cashmere-Dryden Airport.

Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison reported that the people in the house are ok, but the people in the plane are in unknown condition and were transported away.

The plane crashed into the house in the 300 block of Tigner Road on July 30 at 5:30 p.m.

The airplane had two people in it, who were transported to CWH.

The cause of the crash is unknown and Chelan County Sheriff’s Office detectives are on the scene investigating alongside the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration.
