Sheriff Mike Morrison held a press conference in front of the Chelan County courthouse and addressed reports of a possible sighting of Decker in McCall, Idaho.
Sheriff Morrison said investigators looked into those reports and deemed them as not credible.
McCALL, Idaho – The McCall Police Department is actively investigating reports of a possible sighting of Travis Decker.
Investigators said in a release that they’re asking the community to remain vigilant and report only direct sightings to Dispatch at 208-382-5160. Rumors, texts, or online chatter should not be reported.
The police department emphasized the importance of community cooperation in ensuring public safety.
