CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. – While law enforcement across numerous jurisdictions look into the possible whereabouts of Travis Decker including a report recently by police in , Idaho, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office is ramping up efforts to locate the triple murder suspect in Washington State.
According to a press release, a team of law enforcement and support personnel continues to pursue potential leads and check various locations. Investigators are working collaboratively across the county and state to contact Decker’s known associates.
Investigators note Decker has survival skills, enabling him to stay in the wilderness for extended periods with minimal equipment which poses a challenge for search teams, but said they are well-prepared to arrest him.
Police have obtained recent video footage and photos of Decker, which are the last known images of him. He was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and dark shorts.
