SPOKANE, Wash. – Chaos Arcade, a beloved gaming hub in Spokane, will be closing, according to an announcement from its owner.

The arcade, a staple for the local gaming community since 2017, was founded by a couple who moved to Spokane to establish their roots and create a welcoming space for gamers. The owner’s goal was to provide a place where people could escape the world’s problems and enjoy gaming without political distractions.

Over the years, Chaos Arcade received significant community support. It was consistently voted as the “Inlander’s Best Arcade” and even won “Best Place for a Kid’s Birthday Party” one year. The arcade also held successful community events, including blood drives and unique gatherings like the Chaos and Dragons interactive show.

The decision to close was influenced by personal and family reasons. The owner expressed the challenges of managing a business while being present for family, especially as their family grew and health issues arose in 2025. Rising costs and changing conditions also played a role in the decision.

The owner shared their gratitude for the community’s support, saying, “It was always worth it for this special community.”
