SPOKANE, Wash. – Drivers in Spokane should plan for detours as part of Carlisle Avenue and Ralph Street will close starting Monday, July 21, for North Spokane Corridor construction.
According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, crews will remove and rebuild Carlisle Avenue between North Greene and North Ralph Streets, as well as North Ralph Street between Carlisle Avenue and Upriver Drive.
The closure is expected to last through Friday, August 1.
The work is part of the North Spokane Corridor Spokane River Crossing project.
A detour will reroute drivers on Greene Street to Euclid Avenue, then east to Freya Street and south to Upriver Drive. Drivers needing to head north on Greene Street will reverse this route.
