SPOKANE, Wash. – A car crash on North Perry Street left a light pole down and damaged a home, with no reported injuries.
The incident occurred at 11:13 a.m. when a car veered off the road and hit a light pole and a house on North Perry Street. Spokane Police Department crews were dispatched to the scene at 11:15 a.m.
Marilyn Pitini, the homeowner, was in the kitchen when she heard the crash. Fortunately, there were no injuries inside the home, according to Pitini.
Avista crews arrived on the scene to repair the damaged light pole.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
