Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is facing growing calls for impeachment as the DHS is under increased scrutiny following two killings of U.S. citizens in the Minneapolis area.
The impeachment efforts are being led by Congresswoman Robin Kelly from Illinois. Her office has confirmed that a House impeachment resolution now has at least 140 cosponsors.
These cosponsors include members from Washington and Oregon. This number represents nearly two-thirds of the Democratic caucus.
