Burn ban in effect for eastern Washington lands managed by DNR

WASHINGTON – The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has enacted a burn ban on lands it manages in eastern Washington, effective immediately. This decision comes in response to ongoing hot conditions and multiple active wildfires across the state.

The burn ban includes restrictions on outdoor burning, campfires, and the use of charcoal. The DNR emphasized that this measure is essential given the current fire risks.

The ban will remain in place until further notice, with its duration dependent on weather conditions.
