SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – A burglary suspect was taken into custody this morning after assaulting four deputies in the 500 block of South McKinnon Rd.
According to Mark Gregory, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer, crews responded to reports of a burglary in progress. Efforts were made to deescalate the situation, but the suspect assaulted the deputies during the process.
The suspect was arrested and is facing several felony charges, including burglary and assault of a law enforcement officer. The individual is being booked into the Spokane County Jail.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
