LOS ANGELES – A group of burglars targeted a store in La Puente, making off with a stash of trendy plush toys known as La Boo Boos.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred overnight when four men broke into OneStop Sales. They managed to grab boxes of La Boo Boo dolls, which have been in high demand this summer.
The burglars reportedly used a stolen Toyota Tacoma to carry out the crime. Fortunately, the vehicle has been recovered by authorities.
Security footage, shared on Instagram, captured the masked men smashing glass and loading the plush toys into their vehicle.
The store estimates the stolen La Boo Boos to be worth about $7,000.
