SPOKANE, Wash. – Avista crews were working to restore power to several homes in Spokane’s Bemiss neighborhood.
The Spokane Fire Department reported a small brush fire in the alley between East Bridgeport and Courtland Avenues. This fire caused minor damage to a power line.
Investigators said the fire melted siding on a nearby home. However, there was no additional damage to other homes in the area.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
