LACLEDE, Idaho – The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office has issued evacuation warnings for a wildfire burning near Laclede.
Officials asked people living along Upper Manley Creek Road and Lower Manley Creek Road to be ready to leave if necessary. An evacuation center was set up at Laclede Community Center.
Selkirk Fire crews were battling the fire Tuesday afternoon. It began as a building fire before it spread to the vegetation nearby, ultimately reaching other buildings and vehicles.
Fire officials estimated the fire had burned about five acres as of Tuesday afternoon.
