Boeing and WestJet expand partnership with 67 new jet order

SEATTLE – Boeing and Canadian airline WestJet have announced a major expansion in their partnership with WestJet’s purchase of 67 additional Boeing jets.

This new order brings WestJet’s total to 123 airplanes as they look to expand their fleet and both domestic and international networks.

The order includes 60 Boeing 737-10 jets with options for 25 more, and seven Boeing 787-9 jets with options for four more. Both types of aircraft are assembled in Seattle at Boeing’s Everett facility.

This expansion demonstrates WestJet’s commitment to growing its reach and enhancing its service offerings, leveraging the capabilities of Boeing’s advanced aircraft.
