BLUEWOOD, Wash. – Bluewood Ski Resort has announced a delay in the installation of the new Skyline Express lift due to a dispute with the lift broker.

Key components of the lift are delayed, pushing the installation to Spring 2026, the resort said in a release.

The resort said legal action has been taken to expedite the delivery of the remaining parts.

Bluewood has been preparing for the installation by completing groundwork, such as digging tower pads and pouring concrete footings. The resort said it’s committed to completing the project in time for the 2026-2027 season.

In recognition of the delay, Bluewood said it’s honoring its promise of a $100 credit to passholders for the 2025-2026 season.

The credit can be used for various purchases on the mountain, including food and gear. For more details, visit Bluewood’s webpage.
