SAINT MARIES, Idaho – Veterans in Benewah County now have access to a new outreach center along Main Street in Saint Maries. A ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony took place Saturday.
The center offers various programs, including mental health support specifically oriented towards veterans. It was created in 2018 by a group of veterans who recognized the need for an outreach facility in the area.
Organizers stated that Benewah County has more veterans per capita than any other county in Idaho, making this center a vital resource for the community.
