To see if its still possible to get Thanksgiving food for a family of four for under $20, Non Stop Local visited two stores known for low grocery prices: The Dollar Store, and Grocery Outlet.

Bottom line: with some clever shopping, it is possible to get some iconic dishes, for under that 20 dollar budget.

While the Dollar Tree does have less food options, it does have a large selection of cheap deserts. Non Stop Local purchased all the supplies to make peach cobbler. But, there wasn’t any canned turkey or ham. Instead, NonStop Local substituted sliced turkey.
