KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho – Raven Alexis Crum, 33, from Athol, was convicted of aggravated driving while reckless, stemming from a road rage incident last year.
The Kootenai County Prosecutor’s Office reported that on August 3, 2024, Crum sideswiped a vehicle carrying three juveniles, causing it to veer off the road and roll over multiple times.
One juvenile was ejected from the vehicle, sustaining life-threatening injuries and spending over a week in a coma, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Court documents revealed the incident began when Crum narrowly passed the juveniles’ car and swerved in front of them. The juveniles attempted to pass her, and one reportedly made an obscene gesture, escalating the situation.
Senior District Judge Lansing Haynes sentenced Crum to seven years in prison, suspended for two years of probation. She will spend 120 days in jail and face a one-year driver’s license suspension, said the prosecutor’s office.
