SPOKANE, Wash. – An Amazon truck drove off I-90, crashed into a guardrail and nearly continued down a hill to the highway on ramp.
The crash happened late Thursday night around 11:30 p.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.
The patrol said the crash happened because the driver was going too fast for the road conditions. The 41-year-old driver was driving east on I-90 near Hamilton at milepost 281 when the truck lost control and drove off the south part of the road, landing on the dirt hill south.
Two men were inside the car when it crashed and were both transported to Sacred Heart Hospital.
The trailer was reported as damaged and the semi tractor was reported as totalled.
