SEATTLE, Wash. – Amazon is planning another round of layoffs, targeting thousands of white-collar jobs across the country. This follows a previous reduction of about 14,000 positions in October.
CEO Andy Jassy addressed the situation, denying claims that the layoffs are solely due to artificial intelligence advancements. Instead, Jassy emphasized that the company is focusing on tackling excessive bureaucracy and inefficiencies.
