MOSCOW, Idaho – The Alley West of Main Street Sewer Project in Moscow is set to commence on Monday, June 23, 2025, with completion expected by September 23, 2025.
The project involves replacing aging sewer lines, installing new manholes and reconnecting existing services. As a result, Sixth Street between Main and Jackson Streets will experience closures, and sidewalk access will be limited at times, the city said in a release.
The South Jackson Street parking lot will undergo phased closures during the construction. In response, the Moscow Urban Renewal Agency has permitted temporary use of a nearby lot at Sixth and Jackson to alleviate parking issues.
Drivers and pedestrians should prepare for detours and possible delays.
