AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – Local police officers are being recognized for spreading holiday kindness on Christmas Eve.
In a Facebook post, a resident named Amy expressed her gratitude for Officer Baker, one of multiple officers in her neighborhood who she said went door to door, ringing doorbells to alert residents of unattended packages.
Amy shared that when no one answered, the officers took the time to hide the deliveries, in an effort to prevent theft.
The community showed appreciation for this act of kindness by Officer Baker and the team. It serves as a reminder of the positive impact that law enforcement can make beyond their regular duties.
