AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – A special member of the police department was all smiles and tail-wags for Airway Heights Day on Saturday.
K-9 Tonks visited with the public at Sunset Park for Airway Heights Day, an annual end-of-summer celebration for the entire community.
According to the Airway Heights Police Department, Tonks is specially trained to assist with individuals experiencing emotional or behavioral crises.
“If you are out and about at community events, watch for K9 Tonks! She’s a friendly pup who absolutely loves getting attention,” Airway Heights PD wrote on social media.
