ASTORIA, Ore. – The United States Coast Guard at Air Station Astoria has announced that they have partnered with a Washington State Patrol SWAT team to aid the ongoing search for Travis Decker, who is accused of killing his three daughters.

They wrote in their announcement that joining the manhunt highlights the versatility of the Coast Guard, as well as the work they do alongside different agencies.

“While search-and-rescue may lie at the heart of USCG Aviation, our aircrews are always ready to support our national defense readiness and domestic law enforcement efforts,” they wrote.

The search for Decker most recently led law enforcement to the Sawtooth National Forest in Idaho after seeing someone they believed to be Decker.

However, the search in the Sawtooth Forest was called off after U.S. Marshals found and interviewed the suspect and confirmed that he was not Decker.

The search for Travis Decker is still ongoing.

Anyone with information about Decker’s whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest U.S. Marshals office, the U.S. Marshal Service Communication Center at 1-800-336-0102, or submit tips here.
