Affordable week-long spring break camps with early drop-off and pickup options

SPOKANE VALLEY — With Spring Break just around the corner for Spokane public schools, looking for camps can become last minute.

The Warehouse in Spokane and Spokane Valley’s Parks and Recreation Department are both hosting Spring Break camps with available spots.

Jared Tikker, owner of The Warehouse, said his facility maintains flexibility for last-minute registrations.

“We’ve got a great and willing staff that’s ready to work, so we’ll take kids all the way up until the morning of so people can register all the way until the morning of,” Tikker said.

Spokane Valley’s Parks and Recreation’s camp only have six spots left.

“We’ve got just a handful of spots left. So, for those families who are interested, we really encourage them to register today,” said Jill Smith, Spokane Valley Communications Manager.

The two camps offer different experiences for children during the school break. The Warehouse focuses on sports activities, with popular options including dodgeball, scooters, and a fan favorite, nerf gun wars.

Spokane Valley’s Parks and Recreation include outdoor education and creative activities in their camp.

Most Spring break camps in the area charge $200 or more for the week-long programs.

The Spring Explorer’s Camp costs $180 per camper and camp hours are from 9 am to 4 pm.

The All Sport’s Camp in Spokane costs $279 per camper. Their hours run from 9 am to 3:30

Both camps offer earl drop-off and pickup.
